Hong Kong Chapter 281 jumped on a jet plane and ventured to Shanghai where they were invited by sister chapter, The Shanghai Belles, to join a weekend filled with great food, awesome wine and true B+B friends as the two groups united. Starting with a delectable Champagne ladies lunch at M On The Bund where the view (and legendary pavlova!) did not disappoint. The evening’s adventure was equally as impressive and also included Shanghai male Chapter 238, joining a tri-B+B event of a Spanish 9-strong wine pairing by the lovely Vincente at extraordinary tapas joint, Azul. The wine journey was accompanied by some highly impressive tapas (including melt in the mouth mushroom and black truffle Croqueta, tender Beef Anticucho with Crispy Potato Huancaina and (our Wine Master’s favourite!) Cheese Bread with Spanish Ham, which the amazing Eduardo served with great fun and style. If that was not enough, the Hong Kong ladies even  managed to squeeze in some traditional Shanghainese fare at Lao Ji Shi before returning home!
