The Fabulous + Beautiful or F+B Chapter (Branch 281) in Hong Kong kick-started their annual programme with a Canapés & Communications Workshop. The workshop, hosted by Executive & Communication Coach, Joanna Chin, was a dynamic and interactive session where Joanna explained and demonstrated techniques on how to communicate effectively and with positive impact. The intimate group of F+B members learned about interpersonal neurobiology and the neuroscience of trust and distrust, which was very insightful. The group then explored the three levels of communication: Level 1 being Transactional, Level 2 being Positional and Level 3 (the ideal) being Transformational. The ladies participated in real life situations specific to them. We appreciate the group being willing to share their experiences and insights. The session was, of course, helped along by some delicious canapés and a few glasses of wine which we are sure enhanced the communication aspect of the evening. We thank Joanna for her time and for facilitating such a useful workshop! The event also saw the announcement of the Club’s new Food Master, Junia Ferreira who we welcome warmly into the group. Junia has been attending various events over the past few years and is already making a great impact to the Committee.
